In its landmark 25th year, Breathe California’s 2015 Clean Air Awards brought together Bay Area leaders committed to addressing the biggest issues of our times.Winners include civic, business, health, and education leaders that are making a positive impact on Bay Area air quality through their leadership, advances in technology, research, and education.

DebbieRaphael-200x151Deborah Raphael, Director of the San Francisco Department of the Environment (SF Environment) where she worked previously for 12 years as the Program Director for Toxics Reduction and Green Building. Raphael has over 20 years of experience in environmental policy and government administration and most recently served as Director of the Department of Toxic Substances Control for the State of California. Master of Ceremonies, Mike Sugerman, KPIX 5 and KCBS Radio reporter, is one of the most honored broadcast journalists in California. He rivals any local news reporter in the USA with his 8 individual National Edward R. Murrow Awards, a total of 14 Emmys, including 6 Best Writing awards, and more than 100 other national, state, regional, and local awards.

From the East Bay
Take the Bay Bridge, exit at Fremont Street. Turn left on Howard Street, turn right on Third Street, left on Geary Street and right on Powell Street.

From the South Bay
Go north on Highway 101 (follow the Bay Bridge signs), exit at Fourth Street and continue forward on Bryant. Turn left on Third Street, left on Geary Street and right on Powell Street.

From the North Bay
Go south on Highway 101 over the Golden Gate Bridge. Exit at Lombard Street. Follow Lombard Street to Van Ness Avenue. Turn right on Van Ness. Turn left on Bush Street and right on Powell Street.

Underground parking directly on the Square is available using the Geary Street entrance (between Powell and Stockton). Cost for 2 hours is $7.

Sutter Stockton Street Garage, 330 Sutter Street
Public parking garage two blocks away at the corner of Stockton and Sutter Streets. Cost for 2 hours is $5.

Fifth and Mission Garage, 833 Mission Street
Public parking garage on Mission (between Fourth and Fifth) within four blocks of the Westin St. Francis. Cost is $6 an hour.
